Frame cottage, two stories, three-bay facade, with T-plan configuration and cross-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by diamond lattice skirting; vinyl siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story full-width front porch. First-floor porch has square posts, flared solid-sided rail, and plain frieze band, and shelters three single doors, at left, right, and center. Second-floor porch enclosed with square posts, flared solid-sided rail, and bands of one-over-one windows. Front-facing gable, over center bay only, has brackets, plain frieze band, elaborate brick and diamond-pattern stickwork, and “Mosquito Lodge” on carved wood panel. Decorative rafter tails at hipped corner porch roofs. Side gables with clipped-gable roofline. Bay window at left (northwest) side. Long telescoping additions with shed-roofed extensions at sides and rear. Side windows include one-over-one and metal casement windows.
