Two-story frame cottage with complex footprint and cross-gable roof. Diamond lattice porch skirting conceals foundation (presumably posts). Wood cove siding and asphalt shingle roof. One-story octagonal tower with pinnacle at north corner. Two-story front porch; first-floor porch has turned posts, double-band rail, spindles over pierced panels; and pierced panel frieze, above which is a pent overhang. These porch features continue around the corner tower; first-floor porch wraps around northeast side of house. Porch shelters off-center front door with one one-over-one wood window to either side. Second-floor porch has turned posts and balusters. Solid gable end decoration with stickwork over band of vertical boards. Second-floor porch shelters two doors. Slightly projecting cross gables on northeast and southwest sides. Side windows generally one-over-one wood sash; one cottage-style window on southwest side with diamond-paned upper sash. Rear hip-roofed wing and shed-roofed addition.
