Description & Additional Information

Contributing, distinctive one-slip, two-story frame boathouse, 18 feet wide, unusually long with flat roof. Visibile in historic photographs from the early twentieth century. Cove siding and membrane roofing. One slip entrance and one door on water side, above which is a recessed second-floor porch with solid cove siding at rail. The boathouse is just wide enough for the slip and door, giving it very long, narrow proportions. Door and two two-over-one wood windows open onto porch. Wide door, one full-size wood window, and two small windows at cornice on east side; there is also a shed structure that extends to the east. No openings on west side. Land side has two windows at ground level, two four-over-one wood windows with vertical (rather than grid) upper lights flanking a door, which connects directly to shore by a wood bridge.
