Description & Additional Information

Contributing two-slip frame boathouse, 23 feet wide, with asymmetrical gable roof. Wood cove siding and asphalt shingle roof. Two boat slips and one center door on water side (west). Situated very close to boathouse to the south; two two-light wood windows on north side. One door and two windows on shore side (east). This appears to be a historic boathouse, seen on the 1914 and 1924 Sanborn maps and in a 1940s photograph, that has been extended to the north to add the north boat slip; this alteration would explain why the boathouse has many typical features of older boathouses but has an atypical roofline. A seam on the shore side likely demarcates the addition.
