Frame cottage, two stories, with L-shaped footprint and cross-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by diamond lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story, full-width front porch; both levels wrap left (southwest) corner to terminate at front of cross-gable wing. First-floor porch has turned posts, turned balusters, pierced brackets, spindlework frieze band, flared shingle awning; partially screened. Second-floor porch has turned posts, turned balusters, pierced brackets, and pierced frieze board. Gable with exceptionally exuberant decoration including truss elements, diagonal cross band, spindlework bands, pierced panels, sawn scrollwork, sawtooth bands, raking cornice. First-floor porch shelters double front door, at center, with one-over-one window at either side; screen conceals additional openings. Second-floor porch shelters two single doors, at front; two one-over-one windows and single door at left side. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung wood sash. Enclosed second-floor porch at rear.
