Frame cottage, two stories, broad two-bay facade, with generally T-plan footprint and complex roofline combining hipped and cross-gable forms. American Foursquare form, Colonial Revival stylistic elements. Stone foundation with square lattice grates; vinyl siding; asphalt shingle roof. One-story, full-width front porch wraps right (east) corner, with round columns, column-like balusters with bases and capitals mimicking those of the porch columns, and plain frieze band. Porch shelters single door, at right, and one-over-one double-hung window, at left; porch also shelters secondary door and one-over-one window on east side beneath wraparound. Closed gable with raking cornice at front center. Decorations at side gables match front gable. One-bay-wide cross-hipped wing at right (east) side; narrow one-bay wide cross-gable wing at left (west) side with projecting hip-roofed enclosed one-story porch. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung wood windows, and one-over-one double-hung vinyl windows at west addition. Expansive rear deck and rear entry porch. Rear and side additions and vinyl siding added since 1980.
