Oriented to Grove Avenue; primary facade is on the east. Frame cottage, 1 ½ stories, two-bay facade, with generally rectangular footprint and front-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story front porch. First-floor porch extends past south wall and wraps left (south) corner, with turned posts, turned balusters, plain frieze band, screened. Second-floor porch has turned posts, turned balusters. Sawtooth trim and decorative rafter tails at first-floor porch roof. First-floor porch shelters single door, at left, and one-over-one window, at right; porch also shelters double front door at left side. Second-floor porch shelters two single doors. Gable features decorative truss, striking inverted pickets, pendant, and decorative rafter tails. Rafter tails continuous at eaves. Side windows include awning windows, sliding windows, and one-over-one double-hung wood windows. Shed-roofed extension at rear. Porch extended to left (south) in 2012.

History; Moved to current site in 1935, per 1980 survey form; this is consistent with Sanborn maps that show a different cottage on this lot in 1905, no cottage in 1914 and 1924.
