Frame cottage, one story, partial second story, four-bay by two-bay, with rectangular footprint and side-gambrel roof. Stone foundation, partially concealed by decorative flat-sawn skirting; clapboard siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story front porch. First-floor porch full-width, partially enclosed with square posts, flared solid-sided decorative shingle rail, banks of decorative double-hung windows, plain frieze band, vertical board siding at side gable, and decorative exposed rafters. Second-floor porch at center only, with square posts, flared solid-sided decorative shingle rail, plain frieze band, front-gabled roof. First-floor porch shelters single door, off center, six-over-one window at left, and two six-over-one windows at right. Second-floor porch shelters single door, at center. One-story enclosed side entry porch at right (south) rear. Side windows include awning and six-over-one double-hung wood windows.

History: The 1980 survey indicated that the cottage on this lot burned and was replaced in 1920; Sanborn maps suggest that the cottage was actually replaced after 1924, as the cottage footprint shown on Sanborn maps was consistent in 1905, 1914, and 1924 but does not match the present cottage.
