Frame cottage, one story, with rectangular footprint and front-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by vertical board skirting; composite shingle siding; asphalt shingle roof. One-story full-width front porch spans front and wraps both sides, with square posts and pierced brackets. Porch shelters single door, at center, picture window, at right (southwest); porch also shelters three double-hung windows and secondary door at left (northeast) side and two picture windows on southwest. Gable with paired one-over-one windows. Side windows include picture, casement, and one-over-one double-hung wood windows. A side-gabled rear addition connects this cottage to a gambrel-roofed garage.

History: According to the 1980 survey, this cottage was built as a guest house for “Ledgecrest,” the substantial Shingle-Style house at 42852 Centennial Avenue (Lot 867), and had a mansard roof prior to a 1978 alteration.
