Frame cottage, two stories, gable-and-wing configuration; oriented to the water (southeast) with rear facing the road (northwest). One-story engaged porch pavilion with conical roof at right (northeast) corner. Foundation concealed by square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story porch. First-floor porch full-width across front-gabled section and side wings and wraps left (southwest) corner, with chamfered posts, square balusters, pierced-panel frieze band, partially screened at left rear. Porch pavilion has same rail and posts as the rest of the porch, with a spindlework frieze rather than pierced panels. Second-floor porch spans front-gabled section only and has chamfered posts, square balusters at front, solid-sided rail at sides, pierced-panel frieze band. Gable has fishscale patterned shingles, decorative stickwork, panels with diagonal siding, and pierced triangular panel at peak. First-floor porch shelters two front one-over-one windows; porch also shelters sliding glass doors at front of wing and a bay window on southwest side. Second-floor porch shelters single door, at right, and one-over-one window, at left. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung wood windows.
