Frame cottage, two stories, with gable-and-wing configuration, at the southwest end of Prospect Point, oriented to the water (southwest) with rear (northeast) facing the street. Foundation concealed by square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story front porch; first-floor porch wraps side wing, and second-floor porch spans front-gabled section only. Porches have turned posts, wood rail with turned balusters, pierced scrolled brackets coordinated with pierced frieze board; first-floor porch screened in along right (southeast) side. Highly decorated gable featuring decorative truss, pierced spindlework band, pierced panels, raking decorative spindlework, pendant, exposed rafters. First-floor porch shelters triple cottage-style windows, at left (north), single entry door set at cutaway corner, to the right, secondary single door and one-over-one window, at front of wing; screen conceals additional openings on east side. Second-floor porch shelters sliding windows, at left (northwest), single door, at right (southeast). Two one-over-one windows at second-floor front of wing. One-story, bay window at left (northwest) side. Side on east side elaborately decorated with decorative truss, pierced panels, raking spindlework band. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung wood windows. One-story front-gabled addition at rear. Back attached shed closed in and kitchen expanded in 1999; addition designed by architect and owner Evan Kane lll. Excellent example of Eastlake-style decorative detail.
