Frame cottage, one full story and partial second story, three-bay by two-bay, with generally rectangular footprint and side-gabled roof with saltbox roofline; oriented to the water (southwest) with rear facing the road (northeast). Pier foundation, diamond lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. One-story, full-width, integral front porch recessed beneath main roof into cottage, with square posts, square balusters, decorative diagonal cross rail at center, pierced brackets, plain frieze band; partially screened. Porch shelters bay window, at center; porch wraps around south and north corners and shelters twelve-over-two window and two single doors in right (southeast0 wraparound section, and double doors at shallower eft (northwest) wraparound section. Hipped-roof front dormer with sliding glass door that open to balcony, with square balusters and decorative cross rail. Side gables with cornice returns. Side windows include awning and twelve-over-two double-hung wood windows. Shed-roofed addition at rear.

History: This lot was first leased in 1883, but the form of the cottage suggests it was likely built closer to the turn of the century; it appears on the 1905 Sanborn map.
