Frame cottage, one story, three-bay facade, with rectangular footprint and gambrel roof; left (west) side oriented to Bay View Ave. Wood piers on concrete footings; foundation partially concealed by diamond lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. One-story full-width front porch with solid-sided rail, battered posts with block bases and capitals, pierced fan brackets, plain frieze band, exposed rafter tails; screened. Porch shelters single door, at left (west), three two-over-two windows, at center and right. Gable with raking cornice and paired two-over-two wood windows. Broad shed dormer at each side, each with three windows and exposed rafter tails. Exposed rafter tails continuous at eaves. Side windows generally two-over-two double-hung wood windows, single and in pairs. One-story shed-roofed rear wing.

History: According to the 1980 survey form, this cottage was constructed by Author Watsow for his sister; he also built the house next door.
