Two-story frame cottage; complex footprint with multiple components; complex hipped roof with a tower. Pier foundation behind square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Distinctive two-story wraparound porch on the west, south, and north sides, which has simple square posts, first-floor rail with a band of spindles above staggered pierced panels; X-pattern frieze; second-floor porch is screened and has a different arrangement of arched pierced panels with spindles in the arches, with another band of spindlework above; arched frieze formed by vertical pierced sawtooth slats. Banks of two-over-two wood windows open onto porch at first and second floors. Tower, set back from south corner, has two-over-two windows and a tall, steeply pitched pyramidal roof. Squat gable-roofed dormers at peaks of hipped roof on west and south sides. One-story additions extend to the east, terminating in a two-story attached tower with steeply pitched pyramidal tower with cresting.
