Frame cottage, two stories, with irregular rectangular footprint and cross-gabled roof. Tower at right (southwest) corner with polygonal footprint and finial. Foundation piers behind square lattice skirting; wood shingle siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story, full-width front porch, with battered posts, flared solid-sided rail, and brackets. Exposed rafters at first and second floors. Shaped frieze at second-floor porch beneath front and side gables. Tower, second-floor front-facing porch, and right section of wraparound porch have banks of one-over-one double-hung windows. First-floor porch shelters two doors, at left and right, broad cottage-style window with sidelights at center. Additional entry door and two one-over-one windows at left side. Second-floor porch, at left, shelters single door and one-over-one window. Windows include one-over-one double hung and casement. Small rear porch with square posts, square balusters, and plain brackets; shelters single door.

History: Per 1980 survey and 1995 tour brochure, the house was originally a T-plan / one room platform campground cottage, remodeled around the turn of the 20th century.
