Frame cottage, two stories, with generally rectangular footprint; main roof with clipped-gable form. Foundation concealed by square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story front porch, full-width at first floor, partial-width at second with projecting gable roof. First-floor porch has delicate square posts, turned balusters, and plain frieze band. Second-floor porch with shingled, full-height arched openings; turned baluster rail at front, solid shingle-sided rail at sides. Second-floor porch gable has shingle siding, raking cornice, and fanlight. First-floor porch shelters broad bay projection with single front door at center, one-over-one window at either side, large picture window at right (northeast). Second-floor porch shelters single door, at left. Main gable roof has paired windows at front, two gabled dormers with paired one-over-one windows, at left and right sides. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung wood sash. Rear shed-roof addition with banks of windows on all sides.
