Frame cottage, two stories, with gable-and-wing configuration. Foundation concealed by vertical board skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story porch. First-floor porch full width across front-gabled section and wing, with chamfered posts, turned balusters, flattened arch spandrels, square lattice frieze; screened in front of side wing. Second-floor porch spans front-gabled section only and has chamfered posts, double-band rail with geometric over pierced panels. Closed gable with vertical cove siding, truss, open eaves, decorative rafters, exposed beams, sawtooth trim at rake and cornice. First-floor porch shelters single door, at center, two one-over-one windows, at right (northeast), two one-over-one windows and secondary door, at left (southwest). Brick chimney, at right. Side windows one-over-one double-hung wood sash.

History: According to 1980 survey and historic photograph, this cottage was used as the dining room for the “Wren Cottages” from 1907 to 1935. A right-side wraparound and rear room seen on early twentieth-century Sanborn maps were removed prior to the 1980 survey.
