Frame cottage, 1 ½ stories, with irregular cruciform footprint and cross-gabled roof. Cross-gable over second-floor porch, at front. Foundation concealed by square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story, full-width front porch; porch extends past left (north) side of cottage, with cutaway corner. First-floor porch has turned posts, double-band rail with spindles over pierced panels, flattened arch spandrels, pierced-panel frieze band, pent overhang with fishscale pattern shingles. Second-floor porch has square posts, flat-sawn pierced balusters, pierced scroll pattern frieze board, screened. Front gable with decorative truss, pendant, vergeboard; gable over north end of porch with fishscale shingle siding and vergeboard, matches front gable. First-floor porch shelters single front door with sidelights. Screen obscures second-floor porch openings. Fascia pattern matches vergeboard, continuous at eaves and all gables. Entry porch at left wing. Rear cross-gable wings, two stories high, match front side gable. Side windows include one-over-one and 4/4 double-hung windows with wood sash. Second-floor porch at rear, with turned posts, flat-sawn balusters. Rear gable with fishscale pattern shingles, truss, exposed eaves, vergeboard matches other gables. Rear deck and entry porch. Rear addition constructed ca. 1960s.
