Frame cottage, two stories, with irregular cruciform footprint and cross-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by diamond lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story, partial-width porch. First-floor porch has square posts, turned balusters, diamond lattice frieze. Second-floor porch has turned posts; double-band rail, spindles over diamond lattice; pierced panel brackets. Steeply pitched front gable over porch has with flared eaves, decorative truss, delicate pierced panels, turned truss pendant, and false beams. First-floor porch extends across front of south side wing and shelters double front door, one-over-one window at either side; porch also shelters picture window at front of south wing. Two front doors at second-floor porch. South cross-gable wing has cutaway corners; north cross-gable wing, one bay wide by one bay deep. Side windows generally one-over-one double-hung with a mix of wood and replacement sash. Two rear additions project side by side from two-story rear wing: one-story shed-roof addition at north, 1 ½ story gable-roofed addition at south.
