Two-story frame cottage with gable-and-wing configuration. Pier foundation; square lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Full-width front porch; first-floor porch spans front-gabled section and side wing, extending past the side wing; second-floor porch spans front-gabled section only. Porch has simple turned columns, wood rail with square balusters, and plain frieze. Front-gabled section of cottage three bays wide, with center front door flanked by two two-over-two windows; windows are aligned with second-floor front doors opening onto upper porch. Letters reading “SEVEN OAKS” affixed to second-floor frieze, below bands of flat and sawtooth shingles in gable. Decorative shaped vergeboard with affixed bullseye ornament; flat-sawn drop at peak. West wing has asymmetrical gable roof, eaves lower at rear, with gable-roofed side entry porch; porch (added 2018) mimics rail and gable shingle details from front of cottage. Another side entrance is on east side with a simple uncovered deck. Side windows generally two-over-two double-hung wood sash.
