Frame cottage, two stories, three-bay facade, with generally T-plan footprint and cross-gabled roof. Notable features include the rounded projecting wraparound front porch and two-story tower with pyramidal roof at rear. Foundation concealed by decorative flat-sawn skirting; cove and aluminum siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story full-width front porch. First-floor porch wraps east and west sides with rounded footprint, terminating at the front of east and west one-bay wide by two-bay deep cross-gable wings. First-floor porch has turned posts, turned balusters, pierced-panel frieze band, exposed rafter tails; partially enclosed at right (east) rear with cove siding and bank of one-over-one windows. Second-floor porch spans central three-bay front-gable section only, with turned posts, no rail. Front gable with beam, exposed rafters, decorative rafter tails. First-floor porch shelters double front door, at center, two-over-two window at either side, picture window, at right (east); porch also shelters single door at left side. First-floor doors and windows have pointed, shouldered hood molds. Second-floor porch shelters single door, at center, and a two-over-two window at either side. Side gables with decorative rafter tails. Brick chimney at left (west) side. Side windows generally two-over-two double-hung wood windows. Rear porch decoration matches front first-floor porch. Rear tower at northeast, connected to rear of house by a narrow one-story hyphen, has tapered second-story walls and a pitched pyramidal roof with flared eaves. Front gable decoration removed ca. 1930s. At the southwest corner of the property is a concrete sphere set on a low concrete base with inset brick and slate.
