Frame cottage, 1 ½ stories, two-bay by two-bay, with generally rectangular footprint and front-gabled roof with lower one-bay cross-gable extension to the right (southeast) side; oriented to the water (southwest) with rear facing the road (northeast). Foundation concealed by diamond lattice skirting; cove siding; asphalt shingle roof. Two-story, full-width front porch. First-floor porch, spanning front-gabled section and side extension, has chamfered posts, diagonal cross rail, prominent triangular stick-style brackets with decorative cross rail; partially screened. Second-floor porch spans front-gabled section and wraps right (southeast) corner to span southeast side as well, atop the side extension, with chamfered posts, diagonal cross rail with pierced medallions at intersection of each X, and open front and side gables. Front and side gables have pierced vergeboard and spire. First-floor porch shelters single door, at right, paired casement windows, at left. Second-floor porch shelters two single doors, at right and left. Side windows include awning and two-over-two double-hung wood windows.
