Frame cottage, one story, with irregular rectangular footprint and cross-gabled roof. Foundation concealed by vertical board skirting; corrugated metal and vertical board siding; asphalt shingle roof. One-story full-width shed-roofed front porch with square posts, flared wood solid-sided rail, plain frieze band; screened. Gable with board-and-batten siding, round vent, scalloped trim. Porch shelters single door, off center, with one-over-one window at right and two one-over-one windows at left. Scalloped trim, matching front gable, continuous at eaves. Side gable with board-and-batten siding, square vent, scalloped trim. Side windows include one-over-one and two-over-one double-hung wood sash. Rear gable decoration matches side gable. Rear shed-roofed addition with sliding ribbon windows and entry porch.

History: The original cottage on this site burned in the Arlington Hotel fire in 1912. Most alterations seen today were made prior to 1980.
